When sending items to us for service or repair, it is important to both pack and label correctly.
- Packing this should support the item but so that it can absorb shock from being dropped etc.
A common mistake is to pack items too tightly so that shocks are transmitted through the packing material into the item.
- Customs marking. If sending from outside the UK, It is imortant not to overstate the value of the item and to correctly mark the package for customs services.
For example, if sending a tachometer for calibration, conversion or repair with our conversion kit
On the CN22 ( or CN23), under "quantity and Description" state what the goods are e.g. "Vehicle Tachometer" then put the following
CPC 21003 "OPR STATUS GOODS"
"REPAIR & RETURN, UNDER WARRANTY"
If any import fees, VAT or duty is incurred, it will be passed on to the customer in the final invoice.

When sending an item for repair or calibration etc. include the following information inside the package

Important. Any items returned will be treated as being sold business to business in respect of the distance selling regulations. A full refund for the item price will be given and no restocking charge will apply but shipping wil not be refunded.
